Erik Routley, 1917-1982, was an English Congregational clergyman, composer, and hymnist and hymnologist, who spent his last years teaching in New Jersey. He was instrumental in encouraging the Dominican Nuns of Summit, New Jersey in their production of the Summit Choirbook, for which he wrote a preface.
