Compilations written in the Cheyenne language, an indigenous American language now spoken mostly in Montana and Oklahoma. The first Cheyenne-language hymnal, compiled by Rodolphe Petter, was published in 1907 under the title Zesse-Nemeoxtoz. It contained 31 hymns. (In modern Cheyenne orthography, the title would be written "Tsese-Nemeotỏtse".
