- Died: 28 May 1920
- Some later sources say he died in 1925, although this appears to be false, seeing as the cited sources (Trinity College …, Methodist Hymnal, etc.) connect this same Edwin Pond Parker with the tune arrangement Mercy (Gottschalk), and that Parker is the same one connected with the others.
