This tune is found in Songs for the Sanctuary: Or Hymns and Tunes for Christian Worship, 1870, p. 155. This is not the version by William Gardiner. Perhaps it is by Samuel Webbe (1740–1816), but further research is required to attain this information. Another source says it is anonymous and first printed in 1830.[1]
