Copyright Disclaimer

  • Users of this website may not upload copyrighted works without proper consent from the copyright owner.
  • Users may not plagiarize copyrighted works. Even if they are public domain, citing sources is strongly encouraged. Normally, one should cite the original publication (rather than a second-hand source)
  • Users must cite copyrighted works (they should cite all works - but users must cite copyrighted works)

Upload Disclaimer

  • Files should only be uploaded if they relate to the site and are to be used in/for the site.
  • State the copyright information of the content of uploaded files, in the articles linked to them. Also state it in the file page itself, (at least if not yet linked). If the content of a file is public domain, this is not quite so expedient (though it is still needed and should be added - at least eventually).

Personal Works

  • Users may create pages for personal works (provided they are, or are similar to, hymns), and, they may make hymnist articles for themselves (provided they have written something like unto a hymn).
  • Users may upload personal works (once again, state the copyright information on the article page)

Liberties

  • Understand that this is a wiki and people may change things (try not to fight).
  • Anyone, at any time, any number of times, may change the featured hymn.

Conduct

  • Users must refrain from foul language on the wiki (and its forums).
  • Users must refrain from the posting of adult, or obscene, material.
  • Users should be civil.
